Client University of Glasgow

University of Glasgow, Adam Smith Business School

We carried out a strategic feasibility study with the University of Glasgow on the re-use of the iconic Gilbert Scott building at the heart of the historic campus and created a series of proposals on how the space could work for the 21st century and beyond for The University.

Our proposals included a radical approach to the entrance, circulation and key spaces by creating new business engagement and collaboration spaces below large glass features within the quadrangle.

Collaboration Space & Individual Office Refurbishment

The works progressed with the refurbishment of the offices in the east quadrangle over two levels incorporating open plan space, central collaboration space and individual offices for professors. Taking forward the re-imagining of the quadrangle  will be one for the future. In the meantime The Adam Smith Business School plan to move to a new building as part of the University of Glasgow Campus Development.
